US P? OR NOT 2 P?

A USP, or Unique Selling Proposition, is like the secret sauce of a business — it's that special ingredient that makes customers say "Wow, I need that!"

It's not just any old feature; it's the superhero trait of a product or service that saves the day when everything else is just... meh.

Think of it as the business world's version of a stand-out talent in a talent show. While one act might juggle, another might breathe fire, but the one with the USP? That someone may be juggling flaming swords while riding a unicycle. That's a USP—unforgettable, irresistible, and makes you the talk of the town.

So, what's the deal with Earth2.io and its unique selling proposition (USP)? There a two USPs, 1) 1:1 scale of earth, geolcated, 2)no pre-sale/ICO; Let's dive into the magic that sets this metaverse wonderland apart from the rest! 🚀

1:1 SCALE GEOLOCATIONAL EARTH

A 1:1 scale virtual Earth, where users can own, trade, and interact with digital land corresponding to real-world locations. The platform's emphasis on real ownership and a tangible link to physical geography is a fresh take on the concept of digital assets, which often exist in more abstract forms on other platforms. Just look at Decentraland and Sandbox and you’ll see how limited these are when compared to E1!

NO PRE-SALE

E2 did not conduct a pre-sale or Initial Coin Offering (ICO). This strategic move diverges from the common practice among blockchain projects, which often rely on ICOs to raise funds before fully developing their platforms. By avoiding this route, Earth2.io has positioned itself as a platform committed to organic growth and development.

The decision to forgo a crypto pre-sale or ICO suggests a confidence in the platform's value proposition and a commitment to long-term sustainability. This approach may attract users who are cautious of the speculative nature of many crypto projects and are looking for more stability and substance in their digital investments (utility!).

Furthermore, E2’s method allows for a more equitable opportunity for users to participate in the platform's economy from the ground up, rather than benefiting a select few early investors. This has fosters a sense of community and collective ownership, which is essential for the success of any virtual world aiming to replicate the social dynamics of the real world.

What E2 needs to do with their USP?

1. They need to make sure these USPs are front and center in all marketing materials - E2 have done this on their website, in add campaigns, in the whitepaper and even at EDC Shane started with the 1:1 scale thing!

2. But, the world needs educating as to why this is important using blogs, infographics, videos etc to tell the compelling story of the USPs.

3. Also, who is the E2 Team? are they being trained on these USPs? They should be the USPs' biggest fans. Train them to communicate these points effectively, turns every customer interaction into a fan meet-and-greet.

4. Feedback Loop - hah! not just listen but take action; use surveys, social media, and direct conversations to tune into their thoughts and optimise the USPs accordingly.

5. More action! Measure the Successes: Set up metrics to measure how well E2 USPs are performing. Are they hitting the right notes with sales, engagement, and customer loyalty? Adjust the strategy based on what the charts say.

So, USPs can change over time! These two big USPs (1:1 scale and no pre-sale) may not be a USP in the future! The ultimate goal of identifying USPs is to create a brand experience that's unforgettable.
